Pinterest + Wedding = OBSESSED

Before I get into my Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday: Wedding Special, I need to share with you this little gem I made for my man. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm trying ever so hard to convert the fella to team iPhone. Today's the day he's making the decision, so I had to pull out all the stops.

I mean, c'mon! We all know I am lacking in the graphic design department, so the half an hour plus I spent trying to figure out how to cut that dang iPhone out to put next to him is reason enough for him to choose the iPhone. I JUST WANT TO FACETIME AND HAVE EMOJI CONVERSATIONS!!!!!

But on to more important things, I've been wanting to write a post dedicated to my obsession for planning my future wedding. And since it's Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday and I'm on a link-up roll, let's just combine the two!

So last Wednesday, I posted a picture of a gorgeous ring, that I have since become absolutely obsessed with. I have it saved on my phone and you better believe I sent it to Justin. Remind me to send him another copy of it tomorrow since he'll be getting a new phone. It's necessary that he has a reference when he goes shopping....which I prefer to be in the very near future.

Is this ring not absolutely perfect??? Let's take a moment of silence in honor of this gorgeous piece of bling. Okay, moving on....

{Secret Proposal Photographer. I already told my best friend she needs to do this for me}

{Save The Date. This one is for J and his obsession love for the game.}

{I've shared this before, but I'm doing it again. I want a picture like this! So sweet!}

{Perfect wedding hair and make up}

{Gorgeous barn reception. I. Would. Die!}

{Because no one like dancing in heels...or barefoot on a dirty floor}

{Bride & Maid of Honor}

{White hydrangea bouquets}

{Mason jars with chalkboard labels}

{Lantern centerpieces}

{Sparkler sendoff}

And there's a little taste of what I would love to see at my future wedding. The only problem is... I HATE bridesmaid dresses and I HATE wedding cakes. I don't think I've seen a single bridesmaid dress or a wedding cake that I've ever been absolutely in love with. These two things actually cause me a lot of anxiety when I think about them. Which is ridiculous because I'm not even planning a wedding and I definitely don't have a ring on my finger. This is what happens when you're one of those girls who has grown up planning her dream wedding....

HAPPY WEDNESDAY! And don't forget to link up with Michelle for OHP!

I hear ya on all of this! We may have the same exact weddings. We will definitely be wearing the same ring because I've had that beauty pinned for forever. It's perfect! And I told my parents and best friends to make sure my husband has a secret photographer too!

That ring is absolutely gorgeous, you've got good taste girl! I did pictures for one of my guy friends when he proposed and the fiance absolutely loved them when he gave them to her - she had no idea we were stalking them taking pictures.

Good luck at getting Justin to switch to an iPhone, I am counting down the days until I am up for an upgrade so I can get mine.

I love how all of us girls swoon over the wedding boards on Pinterest and plan out every single detail about our said wedding... but aren't exactly planning one at the moment. Hahaha I am sooo guilty of this!! I adore your ideas though- especially the flippies for dancing :) so genius! And that ring- I DIEEEE! Come on Justin- get to work!

I hope he goes team iPhone too! Buuuut, if by some crazy chance he doesn't (who the heck wouldn't convert?) emoji can be used on droid devices too. I made my boyfriend get emoji on his droid so I could have conversations with him via emoji! But I still think he needs an iPhone! Good luck girl!

I was terrified of the Bridesmaid dress shopping when I was planning my wedding. I looked & looked and never found anything I loved. I had decided I would let my girls pick their own dress in the same color (from the same store so we didn't have 5 different versions of the "same color") when I found THE dress for them! Fortunately they all liked it too considering they found it and brought it to me.

Oh & as for cakes... check out theknot.com! I searched for forever before I found one I liked... but they have the biggest collection of cake photos I've seen around. : )

That picture you made is too funny...you could totally be a graphic designer, who you kidding girrrl!? And believe me weddings, no matter the size, are always full of tough decisions. I had white hydrangeas! :) And I don't like weddings cakes either, so we did a big cupcake for me and my hubby to cut into and then mini cupcakes for our guests, everyone loooved them! You should check those out too.

Great ideas!! My friend did the flip flop thing and it was a huge hit. I did pictures of my brother's wedding and the bed jumping ones of him, his wife, and her son are the cutest things ever. Oh, and that ring you found?? I die. LOVE it!

Planning a wedding is such an adventure. Somehow it's a culmination of all our girlhood fantasies and our grown up selves and that's the BEST. When it's time to decide on a cake and bridesmaid dressed - no one says you have to go with tradition. Just do whatever you want and it will come to you. ;o)

I had a sparkler send off...I loved it except everyone was sort of gathered in a semi-circle and we didn't know how to get around everyone with burning sparklers...lol so I highly suggest you have your wedding person/bridesmaides/maid of honor directing traffic and how people should stand for your send off. ;)

A white hydrangea bouquet is a very elegant choice.
