A Little Pick-Me-Up

Yesterday, I had an extremely emotional day. Like crying at work, emotional day. My job is extremely rewarding, but so difficult at the same time. Nothing breaks my heart more than seeing my kiddos, whom I love like they're my own, being abused and neglected by their own mothers! As you can imagine, I want to strangle mothers on the daily.

But anywho, to get my mind off of all things depressing and to make myself giggle, I turned to one of my favorite websites. This website just makes me feel so good about myself and you know why if you've ever visited People of Walmart. So let's take some time to make fun of awkwardly strange people as I share with you my favorite finds. And if you think I'm beyond awful for making fun of people, then just stop reading now. Like I said, it was an awful day and I don't give a flying you-know-what....

Nothing say "Baby, will you marry me?" like a proposal at the Customer Services desk.

Rawr! I'm going to buy J and I matching tiger t-shirts. I think it's a good look.

They're sexy and they know it.

Hold up, hold up. Who took my pants?!

Belly button's need to breathe too.

Is she wearing pants?

Don't you ever wonder about people? Like seriously wonder what is going on in their heads? Listen, I'm all about people expressing their individuality, but there's a fine line between individuality and having no respect for yourself. Pretty sure all of the above ran right across that line. Well, maybe except for the elderly couple in matching t-shirts. They're just trying to be cute. Failing at it, but at least they're trying.

And on a completely different note...

I watched Beverly Hills Nannies last night and I must say, I seriously thought about quitting my job, moving to Beverly Hills, and getting a super awesome nanny job. Let's be honest, who wouldn't want to work for a family who pays $40/hour, takes you on all their amazing vacations, and buys you a brand new Audi?! I'm down!

People of Wal-Mart is the best! It always makes me feel a teensy (huge) bit better about myself when I'm feeling down.

Alright, NEED to watch that show like now. How have I not heard of that? On another note, how do you do your job daily? Seriously, I can't even read a sappy little email without crying. I would be a total basketcase. So, THANK YOU, for doing what you do-it takes a very special person, and those children so desperately need your love.

that is too funny and a great way to improve an emotional mood - sorry your day was so rough! and I'd like to make $40 an hour being a nanny too!

I love that website! lol. I could waste hours looking at the pictures. Hope today is better for you! I've had an awful week, too.

I thought the same thing when I was watching the Nannies show last night--screw this whole MBA thing, who needs it when you can make $40 an hour babysitting?! And be given vacations, and cars, and benefits...smh

I'm sorry you had a rough day at work!! I can totally relate, but mine are elderly clients being abused by their own children- it is utterly heartbreaking. Just keep reminding yourself that you are making such a difference in these children's lives. But seriously, thank GOD for People of Wal Mart haha that website is hilarious!! And Beverly Hills Nannies is without a doubt my new favorite show- I was just saying the same thing on my blog about how I would totally give up my job to be a nanny! Let's do it!

I have a friend that is a nanny in Hollywood, CA ! They bought her a MACBOOK for X mas last year and she flies everywhere they go! She's been to France, NY, the list is endless. They prefer her to drive their car too do she doesn't ever put miles on her own!

I don't understand those crazy Walmart people. How can they honestly think that's a good look? Or maybe they really couldn't care less. So funny though!

I loved Beverly Hills Nannies! Can I have that job please? Lucky people!

LOL "People of Walmart" is a daily chain email at work. That's all we do, is send each other emails of the people.
