Forgive Me...

All I have to say is TGIF! {Do you all remember back in the day when watching TGIF was the thing to do on Friday nights??} Well, since there isn't a Confessional Friday Link-up this week, I decided to do my own. I obviously have a lot to confess! I may or may not have a guilty conscious.

1) So, a couple weeks ago we took the kiddos on a field trip to the Ann Arbor Library. I was driving the short bus. (Yes, you read that right, I have my chauffeurs license and often drive the short bus at work.) Anywho, we park in a gated parking lot in Downtown Ann Arbor that is clearly meant for cars only. On our way out, as I'm desperately trying to get the short bus through the car size exit, I scraped the side of the bus on a sign leaving black marks on the white bus.

This week, the Transportation Coordinator asked me if I knew how the bus got scratched. I said no. I made every adult on the bus that day promise it would be our little secret. Sigh...

2) It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and even though I am technically a Social Worker (at least that's what my degree says) my job title is Toddler Teacher. You best believe I milked this whole 'teacher' thing all week.

3) Tuesday, on my way to work, I found myself mindlessly singing and dancing to One Direction's "What Make's You Beautiful." I'm sorry if you like this song, but I hate it and to catch myself singing it...well that's just down right embarrassing.

4) One of my favorite toddlers transitioned down to preschool this week. He's super attached to me and I was afraid of how things were going to go for him (and let's be honest, for me to). I got a little emotional when the reality hit that I'm not going to get to hang out with him every day anymore. I would die to adopt this boy and his sister!

5) I may or may not have spent $100 at Marshall's on Monday. I tend to get a little carried away at discount stores because all that savings gets my adrenaline pumping! And in the end, I end up spending more than I had anticipated. Oh well!

6) Every time I have to interact with the biotch working the ticket table at Justin's baseball games, I see myself strangling her. How can one woman exude so much hatred? A simple "hello" before demanding $5 won't hurt you! And don't roll your eyes when I tell you I'm on the Guest List. Our conversation yesterday:

Biotch: (Blank stare) Five dollars (as she has the nerve to hold out her hand)
Me: I should be on the Guest List.
Biotch:....for what?

What do you mean 'for what'?!?! The *$&#*%@ baseball game going on behind you, genius.

And it only went on and on. I got so worked up after dealing with her yesterday, I would have had a few choice words to say if there weren't precious ears playing nearby. People kill me sometimes...

There, I feel much better...

xoxo, J
